The Ferry Restaurant, Elephant Boatyard, Old Bursledon Tel: 02380 402566 The Ferry Restaurant was originally a chain link ferry that carried passengers between Southampton and Woolston up until 1977. It was towed up the Hamble and berthed at the Elephant Boatyard and now run as a restaurant. Lunch is served daily and you can choose from a wide selection of dishes. Locally caught fresh fish is available on a daily basis. Visit during the evening for a romantic atmospheric candle lit dinner and choose a superb ala carte menu. Visit on a Sunday and you can experience the delicious Sunday roast.
