It is our aim that through purposeful life application discussions entitled 'Team Talks', we will be able to model and build relationships with the boys too. The Academy is run every Thursday and is split into 2 age groups: Reception to Year 2: 5.30pm - 7.00pm Year 3 to Year 6: 6.30pm - 8.00pm We encourage all boys to wear appropriate sports clothing and footwear. A drink and snack is provided each evening, however they are welcome to bring water bottles for use during sport times. The cost of The Academy is £30 per year, or £10 per term.

The Edge Locks Heath Free Church 255 Hunts Pond Road, Titchfield Common, Fareham, PO14 4PG The Edge is a youth club run by Christian volunteers from the church. We do a talk each evening on a subject (related to faith or just general interest) which is part of the evening, sometimes this is interactive and we welcome any questions you may have after the talk. We hold regular theme nights such as Shakey Jakes (milkshakes), Bouncy Castle nights at the end of term, band nights and other events such as fancy dress, we normally do craft each night as well. We also hold a worship night on a Sunday once every few months which some of the young people attend, but this is not compulsory. We welcome new members, whether you believe in God or just want to have a kick around in the sports hall- everyone is welcome to come and have fun!. The club is well structured and we have rules such as no swearing and respecting the property and leaders- and once you are in you are in (can’t leave before end of the night without telling a leader). We also have a two strike system, which seems to work quite well. We look forward to seeing you on a Friday evening- why not bring a friend? If you normally attend and bring a friend you might get in for free! For more information contact Jim Privett email: youth@lhfc.org.uk or visit the website at www.lhfc.org.uk. The club runs every Friday at the following times: Age group 11 - 13 6:30pm to 8pm 13 year olds - 8:30pm to 10pm Fees - Various subscriptions for each event normally £1 for your first night, 50p for regulars and £2 for special nights (such as bouncy castle or when outside bands come in)
